When you close a customer, they said yes and you're ready to go, here are the steps to get them started:
 

  • Make them signed your contract and provide you the details they need on their credit card file
     
  • Understand how the billing is going to work
     
  • For services
     
  • Advertising costs
     
  • Set the time to start a 60minute session on each of your schedules.

Lets everyone know that you're going to send them a client profile kick-off form so that they can start filling it out before you meet them, and that this document is going to be what you're going to evaluate at the meeting.
 

Between the close and the kick off meeting:
 

Email them the client kick off form link so they can fill it out online.
 

Create this form on Google Forms.

During the kick off meeting:
 

Check the form questions, make sure you have what you need 1) an understanding of their company and 2) login and access to everything you need access to.
 

Discuss how you’ll collaborate online.
 

Set up online collaboration using a collaboration tool such as Basecamp, Asana, Trello or simply use Google Drive.
 

Communication: Decide on how often you’ll meet in person or on the phone.

  • Discuss what “success” looks like.
